Abstract Piggy Bank, 2018. Made for the purpose of the Support Auction for the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts the ceramic piggy bank comments on the idea of the art-object-as-investment. The support auction took place in the Charlottenborg Assembly Hall/Festsalen, Kgs. Nytorv June 17 and was initiated by students of the academy to raise funds, as a response to the severe financial cut downs in the funding of the art academy in recent years.
